Jonathan Richards recently demonstrated how thoughtful design can leap off the screen and into the real world. Using TinkerCAD, he applied the design process step by step—identifying a need, modeling a solution, refining details, and testing the result—to create a custom mouthpiece for his French horn. After finalizing the model, Jonathan brought the design to life by 3D printing it on the Bambu H2D. The print came out perfectly and fits his instrument beautifully, showing how digital design skills, creativity, and iteration can combine to solve real problems in practical and meaningful ways.
