FFHS Students Solving Problems member Aubrey McIntire made a donation of over $300.00 to the Beverly Waterford Food Pantry. The money was raised by the SSP Club hosting a Valentine's Day Dance for the FFHS Student Body.

We have added a Varsity baseball game for this Saturday May 6, at Marietta. This game will start at noon.

Varsity softball game at Frontier for tonight has been canceled. We will make this game up on Wednesday May 10.

Fort Frye FFA chapter held their annual Greenhand Ceremony. At the Greenhand ceremony we celebrated over 130 Discovery, Greenhand and Chapter Degree Recipients. During the Ceremony we welcomed Mr. James Ruble from Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers’ Coalition who donated $ 2,200 for new welding Personal Protective Equipment and an additional 3-D Printer. We also had the opportunity to have former Fort Frye FFA alumni Collin Bauerbach along with Ohio FFA Vice President at Large Landon Shelpman give some remarks. We gave special recognition to our Star FFA Members who are selected every year for being outstanding students that demonstrate the most involvement in all phases of the chapter's activities. Star Discovery Awards were given to Kallie Boley, Grady Hesson and Ty Worthington. Star Greenhands Awards were given to McKenzie Schaad and Peyton Offenberger. Lastly our Star Chapter Awards were given to Julia Silvus and Alex Henke. Fort Frye FFA President Alyssa Duskey presides over the ceremony with officers from left to right: Emma Richards, Wyatt Fulton, Kyndal Buchanan, and Julia Silvus. Members of the Fort Frye FFA officer team conducted the ceremony from left to right: Dominic Brooker, Emma Richards, Wyatt Fulton, Kyndal Buchanan, Maggie Fulton, Alyssa Duskey, Julia Silvus, Kyla Britton, Makayla Stoffel, Dusty Dye and visiting Ohio FFA State Vice President at Large Landon Shelpman. Mr. James Ruble, Director of the Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers' Coalition presents a check to Alyssa Duskey for the Fort Frye FFA to fund the purchase of welding personal protective equipment and an additional 3-D printer.

Attention incoming 7th-10th graders! Career Camp 2023 at Washington County Career Center (WCCC) FREE and each student gets $20 Marietta Bucks per day of attendance.

OVAC Baseball Championship game has been rescheduled again. We will now play Friday May 5, at Edison High School at 5 pm.

Tomorrow's OVAC qualifying track meet has been postponed until Thursday May 4. All tickets are available online at OVAC.org

We hope everyone attending the FFHS Prom tonight has a great time and stays safe! There is high water in the Stanleyville area that some navigation apps attempt to direct people through. Please stay on the main roads and do not take the shortcuts some navigation apps suggest. If coming on Stanleyville Road, stay on that road and do not get off on Reeds Run Road as it takes you along a creek with high water. Have a great evening!
