WHY ARMOUR?

What do we want at Fort Fort as individuals and together.

  1. When we started shaping our new High School of grades 9-12 in the 2021-22 school year, our staff discussed what was important for success now and in the future.

  2. We considered many aspects including the Washington County Portrait of a Graduate that included local employers, community organizations, colleges, and others on what was important for our graduates to be successful.

Those competencies (skills) included Communicators, Critical Thinkers, Adaptable, Problem Solvers, Responsible, and Empathetic.

    C)  So Academics, Content Knowledge, and Learning is    ABSOLUTELY IMPORTANT, but there are other qualities that are also important for success.

    D) If it is important, we need to focus on it, teach it, practice it, model it, and make sure it is important.

You are ALL important individually and “WE ARE FORT FRYE” means we care about each other.

When you hear “See it, Say it, Stop it”.....these characteristics support that.

When we say “Always be a Cadet” …..this is a CADET.

When we ask “What do you want at Fort Frye”.....ARMOUR is the answer.
