The Boys Basketball game at Marietta on Friday 1/5/24 will be a triple header. The gates will open at 4 pm. Freshman game tips off at 5 pm, followed by JV and then Varsity.

JV games will be played in the old Warren HS gym, Varsity games played in the new Warren HS gym. The Girls Basketball game at Frontier on Wednesday December 20, will only be two quarters of JV followed by the Varsity game.

The Varsity Girls Basketball game at Shawnee St. University is scheduled for 2:00 pm on Sunday 12/10. Tickets are available at the gate. The game will be played at Waller Gymnasium and public entrance is off of 2nd St. and Front St. We will be playing against Portsmouth HS.

The doors for Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball games will not open until 5:15 pm, to allow our teams to finish their practices.

The Fort Frye FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure team competed in the state competition today. The group advanced past the preliminary round earning the title of STATE FINALISTS and Top 5 team in the state of Ohio. The group competed in the finals this afternoon and will know their results, soon. We are really proud of this outstanding group!

Congratulations to the Fort Frye FFA Novice Parliamentary Procedure Team! On November 17th the team placed second in the District 10 contest and earned a ticket to the state competition. The state contest will be held this Saturday, December 2nd in Columbus. This group of girls demonstrated hard work, dedication, and perseverance learning how to properly demonstrate Robert’s Rules of Order, debate, and take a written test in Parliamentary law. We are so proud of this achievement! Team members include from left to right: Mollie Lang, Kallie Boley, Hannah Weiker, Alyssa White, Lucy Baker, Alyssa Lang, Haven Shilling and Reagan Witten.

Congratulations to the FFHS Students that earned a spot on the Shield of Excellence for the 1st 9 weeks. Congratulations to the Senior Class of 2024 for winning the 1st Quarter Class Competition. Students attending classes at FFHS compete by Grade Level in overall GPA average, percent of discipline per student in the class, and overall class attendance. An ecumenical group of community members are working together to offer the 2023 Christmas Day Feast. The ministry to the Marietta and surrounding area is free and available to anyone needing a free hot meal for themselves and their families on Christmas Day.
