All Students taking classes at Fort Frye High School will be taking a Navigator Grit Strength and Career Assessment this year. Grades 10-12 will take the assessment on Monday and Grade 9 will take it later in the school year. We will run a 2 hour morning activity schedule on Monday. All students need to report at the beginning of the day and will report to Cadet Period. Grades 10-12 will placed for the assessment while 9th graders will have an extended Cadet Period. What a great couple of weeks at the Fort with Homecoming last week and Start with Hello Week this week. This week we got to honor some of our exceptional students with some outstanding awards (more to come soon) and also appreciate all of our students and staff with Start with Hello Week. We have a great community at the Fort!

COVID guidelines have changed this year. We are now treating it like a respiratory illness. The Ohio Department of Health recommends we follow CDC guidelines. These recommended guidelines say:
They should be 24 hours fever free without the use of fever-reducing medication (ibuprofen, tylenol, etc) AND
Symptoms should be improving
It is recommended that when they return, they wear a mask, but again not required.
Therefore, we will not be using the COVID Exempt code this year. Instead it will be parent excused days or medical excused days if they have a note from a doctors office. Below is the link to the CDC website where the information can be found.

Any FFHS student taking CCP courses off campus or online before returning to school on August 22nd, there will be a Chromebook pickup at the High School on Thursday August 15th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm. Please make sure to have all FInal Forms completed before this time.

Reminder that Tuesday August 6th, at 6:00 pm is the OHSAA Parent Meeting and Meet the Team. This will be held in the high school auditorium. All Fall student athletes grades 7-12 and a parent/guardian must attend this meeting.
