The Fort Frye Marching Cadets are excited to start a new season for the 2024-2025 school year. On April 17th at 6pm there will be an informational meeting in the HS Auditorium for any 7-12 student who is interested in participating in marching band next year. Please make sure the student and a parent or guardian is able to attend this meeting if you are interested in being a part of the Marching Cadets next year. As the date gets closer, our student group would like to share more information about their Spaghetti Dinner with you. The date for the dinner is still scheduled for Friday, April 5th. The dinner will be held in the Fort Frye High School cafeteria. The main entrance will be used. Doors open at 5 pm and close at 7 pm. The cost of entry is a monetary donation of your choosing, or a canned food donation. Donations will be accepted at the entrance. If you haven’t already, make sure to RSVP at the provided QR code so they can prepare. Thank you for supporting our students and their project!

We will be recognizing all Academic Letter winners, Perfect attendance, Top 10 GPA in each Class, each High School Teacher has special awards, WSCC and WCCC special awards, and more. The "STEM-on-the-GO Van" was at Fort Frye High School today providing opportunities for all of our students to visit and get a hands on STEM experience. In partnership with RTI and the Defense STEM Education Consortium, TIES operates the STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van. the students engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital fabrication and machining equipment in the van and facilitated by the STEM-on-the-Go Mobile Fabrication Lab Manager who is a Marine Corps veteran with a B.A. in Middle School Education from the University of North Carolina. Thank You to TIES for helping coordinate this visit and opportunity for our kids!

Please arrive NO LATER than 7:45am with a charged Chromebook and a calculator (if you do not have either one, we will provide you one). Small snacks will be provided at the break and students should be finished between 12:00pm and 2:30pm depending on a student's accommodations. GAMEDAY information for tonight's Girls Basketball Regional Semifinal game. Tickets are available on the OHSAA.org website or cash at the door. Adults $12 Students $5. Gates will open at 5:00 pm. Game starts at 6:00 pm. There is another game after ours, your ticket will allow you to watch both games. They do ask if you stay for the second game that you move out of the center seating area to allow the fans of the teams playing to have premium seating.

This is a reminder that all Fort Frye Juniors will be participating in a ACT Pre-Registration on Thursday March 7th. All High School and Washington State students will complete it from 8:00am to 9:30am at FFHS. All Career Center students will complete it from 1:00pm to 2:30pm at WCCC. Please bring charged Chromebooks if you have one. All Juniors will complete the Mandatory Ohio provided ACT on Tuesday March 12th and must report to Fort Frye High School no later 7:45am. The test will conclude between 12:00pm and 1:00pm and students are excused for the rest of the day at that time. Please bring a charged school assigned Chromebook and students that do not have one assigned will be given one that day. If you have a calculator, please bring it for the test, if not, you will be given one. Snacks will be provided at the break between subject tests. Please keep cell phones and all electronic devices in the car or bring them to the High School office during testing. If you have any questions, please call the High School office at 740-984-2376
