Tuesday November 7, 2023 is our Winter Sports OHSAA meeting and Meet the Team. This will be held in the Auditorium at 6:00 pm . All winter athletes and a parent/guardian must attend. After the meeting, coaches will hold team meetings with players and parents to discuss season details. This is also a reminder that all student athletes must have a up to date physical, and proper paperwork must be signed in Final Forms.

Who needs Christmas ideas?!?! Check out these amazing ornaments! FFMS PTO is selling ornaments to raise money for the 8th grade trip other student initiatives at the middle school. We will be selling these at the craft show on November 11th in the Middle School Gym. We will also take presale orders soon (information about that will be coming soon).

6th grade families, you will notice that we are doing a signs of suicide program for all 6th grade students on November 1st and 2nd. I will send a letter home with all 6th graders on Monday that will explain the program in detail.

Winter sports are right around the corner. This is a reminder to any student/athlete wanting to participate in in winter athletics, that you must have an up to date physical and the proper forms must be signed in Final Forms, by both the parent/guardian and the student.
Students Solving Problems is hosting our 3rd Annual Trunk or Treat at Fort Frye High School on Tuesday, October 31 from 6-7:30. In addition, Fort Frye Band Boosters is sponsoring a prize for the best decorated trunk so bring your A-Game! We invite individuals, families, businesses, and organizations to set up trunks in our front parking lot starting at 5 pm that evening!
Our 7th and 8th grade volleyball teams won again last night in the County Tournament. The 7th grade team will play in the championship at 6 pm, and 8th grade will play in the championship at 7:30. Both games are at Warren High School. Go Cadets!
Both of our Jr High Volleyball teams won today in the first round of the county tournament. They will both play again Monday. Go Cadets!
Friday Focus for Friday the 13th!
The Jr High Volleyball game scheduled for Thursday October 19 at Shenandoah will now be played on Wednesday October 18th.
With Veterans Day approaching, we are asking for your help. Pictures are appreciated but not required. If you aren’t sure if a veteran is already part of our slideshow, please send the information and we will check!

Middle Schoolers worked with Megan Lang, wellness coordinator, to complete an anti-vaping curriculum ("Catch My Breath"). As a part of the curriculum, students completed social media projects. Check them out!
