
The Fort Frye Musical Department is putting on their production of "Into The Woods JR." on Friday, May 3rd at 7PM and Saturday, May 4th at 3PM in the HS Auditorium. Tickets are available at the door and are $5 for students and $7 dollars for adults. We can't wait to see everyone at the shows!

Please see the attached flyers on a FREE opportunity for Class of 2025 and 2026 students in Industrial Maintenance, Advanced Manufacturing, and Cyber Security at Washington State College of Ohio in Marietta. The Programs will be held from June 3-20 on Monday-Thursday from 9am to 3pm.



The Varsity Softball game originally scheduled for 4/5/24, has been rescheduled for 4/20/24 at 11:00.

The Fort Frye Marching Cadets are excited to start a new season for the 2024-2025 school year. On April 17th at 6pm there will be an informational meeting in the HS Auditorium for any 7-12 student who is interested in participating in marching band next year. Please make sure the student and a parent or guardian is able to attend this meeting if you are interested in being a part of the Marching Cadets next year. If you are not able to make it to the meeting please email Mr. Border for information.


The JV Baseball game scheduled for Thursday 4/11 at Marietta has been canceled.

The Varsity Baseball and Softball games at Point Pleasant Thursday 4/4, have been postponed. We will work to reschedule.

There will be no athletic practices or events at Fort Frye local schools today, Wednesday, April 3.

JV Baseball at Caldwell Tuesday 4/2, has been canceled. We will work to reschedule.

Varsity Baseball game for tonight 4/1 vs Waterford is canceled. There will be no practice. This game will be rescheduled for 4/29/24.

Varsity softball game at Marietta tonight 4/1, has been canceled. The girls will have practice at 3:15 pm. The game has been rescheduled for 4/18/24.

As the date gets closer, our student group would like to share more information about their Spaghetti Dinner with you.
The date for the dinner is still scheduled for Friday, April 5th. The dinner will be held in the Fort Frye High School cafeteria. The main entrance will be used. Doors open at 5 pm and close at 7 pm. The cost of entry is a monetary donation of your choosing, or a canned food donation. Donations will be accepted at the entrance. If you haven’t already, make sure to RSVP at the provided QR code so they can prepare. Thank you for supporting our students and their project!

We are now "Officially" in the last 9 weeks of the school year.
There are some exciting events coming up at the Fort.
On March 20th FFHS will be hosting the "1st Annual Cadet Excellence Banquet" at 6:00pm in the High School Auditorium with a reception held afterwards in the cafeteria (Sweet Stop Cake). We will be recognizing all Academic Letter winners, Perfect attendance, Top 10 GPA in each Class, each High School Teacher has special awards, WSCC and WCCC special awards, and more. Family and Friends are welcome and encouraged to attend.


The "STEM-on-the-GO Van" was at Fort Frye High School today providing opportunities for all of our students to visit and get a hands on STEM experience.
In partnership with RTI and the Defense STEM Education Consortium, TIES
operates the STEM-on-the-GO Mobile Digital Fabrication/Machining Van. the students engaged in solving real-world STEM challenges using the Engineering
Design Process while learning how to use design software and the digital
fabrication and machining equipment in the van and facilitated by the STEM-on-the-Go Mobile Fabrication Lab Manager who is a Marine Corps veteran with a B.A. in Middle School Education from the University of North Carolina. Thank You to TIES for helping coordinate this visit and opportunity for our kids!

OVAC athletic scholarships have been posted to the Guidance Scholarship page: https://www.fortfrye.k12.oh.us/o/ffhs/page/scholarships.
MOST of these scholarships allow only one applicant per school. Please, turn your completed application into the guidance office by March 19 and a committee will forward the chosen application. The Guidance Office will be happy to print copies for you if needed.
