Cross Country State Send Off 2022 Our Fort Frye Girls Cross Country Team has qualified for the OHSAA State Tournament on Saturday November 5th. The start time for the Girls Division III race is 11:45am at Fortress Obetz in Columbus. They will leave Fort Frye High School on Saturday morning at 8:00am. We would like to recognize them, show our appreciation for their accomplishment, and wish them luck. Here are the list of events: Friday November 4th - Middle School and High School Walk Through 2:45pm - Start on Middle School End and Walk through halls to High School Gym Entrance Band and Cheerleaders will lead through the halls with all students and staff lining the hallways Parents and Community are welcome to line the Gym Entrance and sidewalk outside Parents and family that want to participate inside, please come to the main office and check in before the send off. Saturday November 5th - Send Off 8:00am - Bus leaves for the State Meet Police and Fire Department will lead the bus out of town Students, Families and Community are encouraged to line up at different spots along Route 60 Send them off with signs, messages, and cheer them on as they leave town. #GO CADETS

Family Counseling & Rehabilitation Center of Ohio: Starting in January we will have a variety of groups for ages 6 through 20 in different areas that include addiction in the family, individual substance use, and an informational series on individual substances. REMINDER Gates for the football playoff game do not open until 5:30 pm. Blankets, chairs, and stadium seats cannot be put down in advance, to reserve seats. OHSAA does not allow reserved seating at home playoff games. If there are items in the bleachers ahead of time they will be removed. Thank you.

Tickets for the Playoff Football game on Friday, are only available on the OHSAA website. Tickets will NOT be sold at the gate. No staff or season passes will be accepted for postseason games. We will be charging $2 for parking. The gates will open at 5:30 pm. The public is NOT allowed to put chairs, blankets, or stadium seats down in advance. Powered noise makers are not permitted at playoff games. Also no one without a credential tag is allowed on the track or sideline area before, during, or after the game.

We will be having our Winter OHSAA Parent Meeting and Meet the Team on Tuesday November 1, at 6:00 pm. All athletes competing in Winter Sports and at least 1 parent/guardian must attend this meeting. The meeting will be held in the High School Auditorium. If your athlete does not have an updated physical please make sure they have one before they can participate in practices or tryouts. Also please log on to Final Forms and make sure everything is taken care of there as well.

Reminder that ALL students need to report by 7:50am on Tuesday and Wednesday due to Safety training and drills. We will start the day on Tuesday with an assembly with the Washington County Sheriffs Office. Wednesday we will start the day with a mandatory extended Cadet Period. Parents, staff, and students are invited to participate in the wellness challenges. Once you complete the challenges, email megan.lang@fortfrye.org! Those who complete the challenges will be entered into a drawing for wellness prizes. Distance Challenge 15 miles by December 21, 2022 You can complete this challenge by walking, running, hiking, and/or biking. Miles do not need to be completed all at once.

Friday night will be Senior Night at the football game. Senior athletes and parents for Band, Cheer, Golf, and Football will need to be at the stadium by 6:00 pm. We will line up and begin announcing our seniors at 6:15 pm.
