Fort Frye High School

Everyone, We have had several students and parents request extra support and tutoring in Math and English. Please be sure to see your teachers during Cadet Period, but we realize some students need a little additional support. We will be offering after school tutoring once a week in both subjects for any FFHS student. There will be 1 session of each subject before Christmas Break to help students before the end of the semester, then we will share other dates for January. Sessions will be from 3:15pm to 5:15pm in the teachers room. Ms. Mason will be offering MATH after school tutoring on Wednesday December 14th. Mrs. Baker will be offering ENGLISH after school tutoring on Monday December 19th. If you have any questions, please let me know. Mr. Schob

Tickets for the Girls Basketball game Saturday December 10th at the Alexander Spartan Classic will be sold for cash at the gate.

Ticketing for the Varsity Girl's Basketball game on Monday December 5th at Heath High School is online only. No cash tickets will be sold. You can purchase them at the link below, or at the gate with a debit/credit card. The game will start at 6:15 pm. https://www.heath.k12.oh.us/ticketing.aspx

Schedule change. Because of the success of our football team, and their season just ending, we will be rescheduling our first Boys JV/Varsity Basketball game. The game was originally scheduled for Tuesday December 6th at Caldwell. This game will now be played on Saturday January 28th.

Our Fort Frye Football Team plays Kirtland in the State Final Four at South Range (Canfield, OH) High School on Saturday at 7:00pm. There will be a SEND OFF for the team at 1:30pm in front of Fort Frye High School and along State Route 60 to State Route 339. Congrats to the Fort Frye Football team winning the Regional Title and heading to the Final 4. The Cadet will play Kirtland at South Range High School on Saturday November 26th at 7:00pm. To make it possible for all FFHS students to travel to the game, we will be taking a PEP BUS. The bus will leave on Saturday around 3:30pm (more details coming). We need to get sign ups completed quickly, so if you are interested in riding the pep bus to the game, please sign up in the High School office or email andy.schob@fortfrye.org. Deadline is Tuesday at 3:00pm to sign up. First to sign up, reserves their seats. Since we are heading into a long weekend, The November 11th edition of What is UP at the Fort is coming out a day early. Parking lots do not open until 4:15 pm, Gates will open at 5:30 pm. Parking is available at 1312 Granville Pike, and along Arbor Valley Dr. Handicap parking is available at 901 E. Fair Ave.

November 4th Edition of What is UP at the FORT! ARMOUR UP!

Reminder that tickets for tonight's Playoff football game must be purchased online at the OHSAA website. Gates will open at 5:30 pm. No blankets, chairs, or stadium seats may be placed in the stadium prior to gates opening. We will be charging $2 for parking. Season passes are not accepted at postseason games. No one is allowed inside the track/playing area without a credential tag before, during, or after the game.

Reminder that our OHSAA Parent Meeting/Meet the Team will be tonight at 6:00 pm in the High School Auditorium. Any winter athlete and at least one parent/guardian are required to attend. We will be accepting Pay to Participate fees in the high school office.
