The Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center Driving School at Fort Frye now has its student driving car. We are finally able to enroll students for both online and driving classes. Contact Suzan White at FFHS to get registered.

15 miles by December 21, 2022
You can complete this challenge by walking, running, hiking, and/or biking. Miles do not need to be completed all at once.

No Tech at the Table Challenge
Based on the results of the recent technology survey, 32% of Fort Frye parents reported that they eat meals without a screen everyday. This quarter we are challenging you to eat at least 5 meals without a screen, which includes cell phone, TV, tablet, or laptop.

Representatives Jay Edwards and Shane Wilkin introduce the Accelerated Appalachian School Building Assistance Program.
This legislation will create an OFCC program for public school districts in Applachian Ohio who have not gone through OFCC construction to date.

Stephanie Marshall was nominated for the Outstanding Faculty Award. Pam Bennet was recognized for helping all of our schools receive Purple Star designations for being supportive of military families. The Washington County Fun Day for special needs students, organized by Derek Sidwell, was honored as Outstanding new program. Congratulations!



Dawson Layton and Kaitlyn Lipscomb being recognized by Board of Education President Stephanie Lang as our nominees for the Ohio School Board Association’s SE Ohio outstanding male and female students. Congrats!

Family Career Awareness Day is set up to help parents become familiar with opportunities in the area as well as provide experiences and provoke conversation for our students in grades 7-12. Local businesses have reached out to us to build their workforce and increase their resources by educating students and families about available careers as well as entry-level jobs. This event is designed to further our goal to foster student, business, and civic relationships to inspire career choices through experience, entrepreneurship, and education.
