Attention Parents/Guardians
Fort Frye is currently accepting open enrollment forms for the 2024-2025 school year. If you live outside the district and would like your child(ren) to attend Fort Frye schools, please fill out the Interdistrict open enrollment form. If you live inside the district and want your child to attend another elementary school within the school district then please fill out the Intradistrict open enrollment form. Open enrollment forms must be submitted and approved by the building principal prior to registration. The deadline to submit open enrollment forms is June 1, 2024. Open enrollment is not guaranteed.

Great things happening!

Federal Magistrate Judge of the Southern District Court of Ohio and Fort Frye Alumni Chelsey Vascura speaks to Mrs. Bennett’s and Mr. Bostic’s American Government Classes yesterday!

Because the partial solar eclipse will occur locally when three of our five schools will be in the dismissal process, Fort Frye Local will dismiss two hours early on Monday, April 8, to allow all students and staff the opportunity to safely view the partial eclipse.

We have two winners! Congratulations to Sam Beaver and Connor Schnell for placing in both events that they competed in at the Regional Science Olympiad Competition at Marietta College today. Connor and Sam received 3rd place medals in Tower Building and Forensics. This was their first time competing and they are already making plans for next year! Great job Cadets!

Need help paying for Drivers Education? A Drive to Succeed Grant is available for those who qualify. The student must be 15 1/2 years old with a driving permit. Fort Frye kicked off Random Act of Kindness week by making valentines for the residents at Appletree Assisted Living and Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly.

Fort Frye FFA Shines at District Public Speaking Contest
Three Fort Frye FFA students competed in the District Public Speaking Leadership Development Event on February 1st in Gallipolis. Alyssa White placed 7th in the FFA Creed. Julia Silvus placed 2nd in Extemporaneous, and Alexis White placed 1st in Beginning Prepared. Julia and Alexis will be moving on to the State Competition in March, a huge accomplishment!

The FFHS Winter Guard had its 1st competition this past Saturday at Central Crossing High School. They scored 1st place in the Scholastic AA class!! Congrats team!
