Fort Frye kicked off Random Act of Kindness week by making valentines for the residents at Appletree Assisted Living and Muskingum Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Beverly.

Fort Frye FFA Shines at District Public Speaking Contest
Three Fort Frye FFA students competed in the District Public Speaking Leadership Development Event on February 1st in Gallipolis. Alyssa White placed 7th in the FFA Creed. Julia Silvus placed 2nd in Extemporaneous, and Alexis White placed 1st in Beginning Prepared. Julia and Alexis will be moving on to the State Competition in March, a huge accomplishment!

The FFHS Winter Guard had its 1st competition this past Saturday at Central Crossing High School. They scored 1st place in the Scholastic AA class!! Congrats team!

Washington County Board of Elections Deputy Director Karen Pawloski Visits the Fort Frye Government Classes!

Attention Fort Frye Families: An email has been sent to student families about our remote learning plan that is in effect if we reach school closing day #6. Currently, the district has closed three days this school year due to inclement weather.
FFHS Government classes host local candidates as guest speakers for the upcoming election. Eligible students will be assisted in registering to vote as part of their government class.

Tonight we are recognizing the FFHS Girls Cross Country team for its fall season achievements, including making it to the state meet!

The Board of Education Building and Grounds Committee meeting scheduled for Friday, January 19, 2024, at 11:00 A.M. has been canceled.
Fort Frye Local Schools are closed Friday, January 19, 2024.
For those students who qualified in their respective Building Spelling Bees, the Fort Frye District Spelling Bee will be held on Monday, January 22 at 6:00 pm in the Fort Frye High School Auditorium. Spelling Bee participants should arrive between 5:45-5:50 to register for the event. In the case of inclement weather, the District Spelling Bee will be rescheduled for January 31 at 6:00 pm. District families will be notified of this cancellation via the robocall system. Thank you!
