Because the partial solar eclipse will occur locally when three of our five schools will be in the dismissal process, Fort Frye Local will dismiss two hours early on Monday, April 8, to allow all students and staff the opportunity to safely view the partial eclipse.

We have two winners! Congratulations to Sam Beaver and Connor Schnell for placing in both events that they competed in at the Regional Science Olympiad Competition at Marietta College today. Connor and Sam received 3rd place medals in Tower Building and Forensics. This was their first time competing and they are already making plans for next year! Fort Frye FFA Shines at District Public Speaking Contest Three Fort Frye FFA students competed in the District Public Speaking Leadership Development Event on February 1st in Gallipolis. Alyssa White placed 7th in the FFA Creed. Julia Silvus placed 2nd in Extemporaneous, and Alexis White placed 1st in Beginning Prepared.
