On Monday, FFHS and FFMS Robotics and Drones students competed at the 2nd Annual Ohio Valley Robotics and Drones Competition at Belpre High School. Our students performed well! Congratulations to FFMS students Gavin Strahler and Talan Robison for competing in the drones event against 18 high school teams and making it to the final four rounds! Congratulations to FFHS students Terry Tompkins and Treyson Schmitt for making it to the final three rounds in the drones event and to Dakota Robinson and Brighton Hurst for taking 2nd place in the Robotics tournament out of 21 teams! #FFHSRobotics

Washington County Department of Job and Family Services along with Washington County Career Center will be hosting the 2024 Career Camp!! This camp is to explore potential careers and give area youth (those entering grades 7, 8, 9, or 10 in fall, 2024) a better understanding of opportunities available to them.


Attention 5th grade parents and guardians, Mr. Border and Mrs. Hill have met with each student to find their best fit instrument. Students should have brought home a paper about the beginning band. Please review those papers with your students and return them no later than May 10th. We need them back whether your child wants to be in band or not. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to Mr. Border or Mrs. Hill. Thanks and as always Go Cadets!

A few Fort Frye and Hopewell staff members are attending a youth mental health summit sponsored by the Appalachian Children Coalition today in Nelsonville. Lt. Governor Jon Husted speaks to the group about the impact of social media on children.
