We will be having our Winter OHSAA Parent Meeting and Meet the Team on Tuesday November 1, at 6:00 pm. All athletes competing in Winter Sports and at least 1 parent/guardian must attend this meeting. The meeting will be held in the High School Auditorium. If your athlete does not have an updated physical please make sure they have one before they can participate in practices or tryouts. Also please log on to Final Forms and make sure everything is taken care of there as well.
Reminder that ALL students need to report by 7:50am on Tuesday and Wednesday due to Safety training and drills. We will start the day on Tuesday with an assembly with the Washington County Sheriffs Office. Wednesday we will start the day with a mandatory extended Cadet Period. Please see this weeks "What is UP at the FORT" for bell schedules.

No Tech at the Table Challenge
Based on the results of the recent technology survey, 32% of Fort Frye parents reported that they eat meals without a screen everyday. This quarter we are challenging you to eat at least 5 meals without a screen, which includes cell phone, TV, tablet, or laptop.
Tickets for this week's Football Playoff game are ONLY available online at the OHSAA website. Tickets do not go on sale for our game until 7:00 PM Monday. Season passes will not be accepted at Postseason events. Everyone must purchase a ticket online. When purchasing tickets on the website, we are Division VI Region 23.

Friday night will be Senior Night at the football game. Senior athletes and parents for Band, Cheer, Golf, and Football will need to be at the stadium by 6:00 pm. We will line up and begin announcing our seniors at 6:15 pm.

Our Volleyball team defeated Barnesville tonight in the Sectional Semi final game. They advance to the Sectional Final game Thursday October 20, at Sandy Valley HS. They will play Tuscarawas Valley HS. Tickets are only available online at the OHSAA website.

Family Career Awareness Day is set up to help parents become familiar with opportunities in the area as well as provide experiences and provoke conversation for our students in grades 7-12. Local businesses have reached out to us to build their workforce and increase their resources by educating students and families about available careers as well as entry-level jobs. This event is designed to further our goal to foster student, business, and civic relationships to inspire career choices through experience, entrepreneurship, and education.

Wednesday October 12th is World Day of Bullying Prevention- #BlueUp - Wear Blue On this day students, schools, and communities all over the world go BLUE together against bullying. The last day to drop courses without penalty for the 2nd 8 week session at WSCC this fall will be Tuesday, October 18th. This means no grade penalty, but also discuss the drop with Mrs. Shultz because it may impact extra curricular eligibility, too.
Tickets for the Boys State Golf Tournament are only available online through the OHSAA website. Tickets will need to be purchased for both Friday and Saturday. Spectator golf carts will be available on a first come first serve basis, and the cost is $40. The tournament will be hosted at NorthStar Golf Club, 1150 Wilson Rd., Sunbury, OH 43074.
