
Varsity baseball game scheduled for today (May 13) at John Glenn has been canceled.

On Monday, May 22 FFHS students will be participating in Community Day. One group will be headed to Beverly Cemetery for gravestone cleaning and restoration. Last year, we had a lot of community interest in this and we would like to welcome community members to join us! If you are interested in learning how to clean gravestones and work alongside some students, please join us at Beverly Cemetery, May 22 at 8:15 a.m. Mrs.Bennett will go over the process and give you supplies to clean some of the older monuments. Varsity Softball will host the first round of the OHSAA Sectional Tournament on Monday May 8th at 5 pm. We will play Union Local HS. Tickets are only available online at OHSAA.org This is a postseason game so season passes will not be accepted.

Reminder that tickets for all OVAC track meets and baseball championship games are online only at OVAC.org. Tomorrow's Baseball Championship game is at Edison High School. The game can be streamed online at ohiovalleysportsonline on either Facebook or YouTube

JV softball game at Waterford scheduled for Friday May 5th has been canceled.

FFHS Students Solving Problems member Aubrey McIntire made a donation of over $300.00 to the Beverly Waterford Food Pantry. The money was raised by the SSP Club hosting a Valentine's Day Dance for the FFHS Student Body.


We have added a Varsity baseball game for this Saturday May 6, at Marietta. This game will start at noon.

Fort Frye FFA chapter held their annual Greenhand Ceremony. At the Greenhand ceremony we celebrated over 130 Discovery, Greenhand and Chapter Degree Recipients. During the Ceremony we welcomed Mr. James Ruble from Appalachian Ohio Manufacturers’ Coalition who donated $ 2,200 for new welding Personal Protective Equipment and an additional 3-D Printer. We also had the opportunity to have former Fort Frye FFA alumni Collin Bauerbach along with Ohio FFA Vice President at Large Landon Shelpman give some remarks. We gave special recognition to our Star FFA Members who are selected every year for being outstanding students that demonstrate the most involvement in all phases of the chapter's activities. Star Discovery Awards were given to Kallie Boley, Grady Hesson and Ty Worthington. Star Greenhands Awards were given to McKenzie Schaad and Peyton Offenberger. Lastly our Star Chapter Awards were given to Julia Silvus and Alex Henke.
