The following students' work was published in the December 23rd Issue of The Marietta Times as an insert. They all received a free copy of the calendar.
All Art II, III, and Advanced Art students submitted an entry to the contest.
We are very proud of all our entries and applaud these four students for their work being chosen for publication. All entries are on display in the showcase outside the Fort Frye High School art room.

According to the National Center of Drug Abuse Statistics, 71,0000 or 7.98% of 12 to 17 year olds in Ohio report using drugs in the last month. Although Washington County no longer has a drug-take back day, you can still dispose of unused medications at the following locations;

Due to flooding, Fort Frye Local Schools will be closed today January 4.
Due to flooding, Fort Frye Local Schools is dismissing two hours early today. Busses will leave the schools two hours early. Families may also choose to pick their children at the school at noon. Thank you.

Boys Basketball in action tonight!
Our wrestlers have been in action today at home! Go Cadets!
The Freshmen, JV, and Varsity Boys Basketball games at Fort Frye against Morgan have been canceled for this evening 12/23 and will be rescheduled at later date.
The Board of Education members passed out candy canes and visited classrooms yesterday all across the district!
