On April 22nd, our FFA chapter held its annual Special Awards Banquet to celebrate the accomplishments of our members throughout the year. A huge congratulations and thank you to our outgoing senior officers Peyton Offenberger, Alexis White, Christy Willis, and Parker Burris. You’ve made a lasting impact, and we can’t wait to see where life takes you!
Award Recipients included:
Ralph Coffman Leadership Award: Alexis White and Peyton Offenberger
Dekalb Agricultural Accomplishment Award: Christy Willis
Whitley Legacy Scholarship Award: Reiley Miller
Blue and Gold Award: Witten Farm Market & Greenhouse
Honorary FFA Degrees: Daren Clark, Calvin and Tracy Huck
Benchwarmer Award: Ethan Wagner and Luke Phillis
We cannot thank the community and parents enough for all of their support! Here is to another year of living to serve and lead with purpose!
To conclude the evening, we proudly installed our newly elected officer team for the upcoming year: President Kallie Boley, Vice President Regan Witten, Vice President of Committees Hannah Weiker, Student Advisor Levi Wagner, Reporter Mollie Lang, Secretary Alyssa White, Treasurer Graden Miller, Sentinel Grant Witten, Historian Alyssa Lang, and Parliamentarian Harrison Miller. We are excited to see what the future holds under their leadership!
