The FFA has partnered with Farm Bureau, Witten's, and several other area farms to host a Farm to Fork Dinner this Sunday, September 14th at 5 pm. This dinner will include several courses as well as the opportunity to interact with these growers, several which are family members of Fort Frye students. I have attached the menu and sponsors below, if you are looking for a date night idea or just a great meal, you can purchase a ticket to attend here. This project has been run by Kallie Boley as part of a grant she received to host an agricultural literacy event in the community.
Secondly, Kallie also secured grant funds as part of her Supervised Agricultural Education experience to sell the mums we are currently raising in the greenhouse. FFA members are happy to assist you in taking mums to your classroom or meeting you before or after school to pick them out of our greenhouse. They are $10 a piece and we have a wide variety of colors. You can also purchase online if desired.
