First grade eats lunch with Mrs. Hibbs for earning their PAX points. Way to go, first grade!
Kindergarten promotion was a big hit. Students each told what they learned this year and were given individual awards. Miss Jones does a fabulous job and the students will really miss her. On to first grade.....
Let's start a Daisy Troop
Kindergarten had an adventurous field trip taking a tour of Lowell. They got to go to the bank, the post office, the fire dept, and then had lunch on the island and played with other kindergarteners.
5th grade is working on circuits today. The students are very interested and excited.

Field day was a huge success and the weather was amazing. Thank you to all the volunteers who came out to make today so great. Nice job, Mrs. McCutcheon, the day was very organized and fun.

Hey everyone! Tomorrow is FIELD DAY at school, and we can’t wait for all the fun! Here are a few things to remember so our kids are ready to have a blast:
✅ Wear comfortable clothes appropriate for the weather
👟 Don’t forget tennis shoes for all that running, jumping, and playing
🧴 Bring sunscreen and a water bottle to stay protected and hydrated
🧢 Hats and sunglasses are welcome too (totally optional but great for extra sun coverage)

Third Grade visited Campus Martius! They toured the Putnam House, toured the museum, learned about Ohio wildlife, and learned about Conestoga wagons! What a great day!
Fifth grade enjoys the day at the Planetarium, the Castle, and Mound Cemetery.
Band director, Tyler, Hartline, and his band members traveled to Lowell Elementary to perform for the K-5 students. Everyone really enjoyed the show and were able to learn about band and choir. Thank you and great job!
Mr. Dan came to First Grade today with a story he wrote for Mrs. Hibbs' First Grade class. The title was "The Mystery Cabinet. The students listened intently as he read. This was the 200th book this year the students had listened to with Mr. Dan and Mrs. Hibbs. What a Great way to end the year, Mr. Dan "Thank you!" for your inspiration for our short story writing.
