Hello, Lowell Families!
We hope you are as excited for Christmas break as we are! We only have a little while left. In our time together, we would like to celebrate! The week of December 15-19th will be our “Christmas Spirit” week. This will be a fun way for all to join in on the joy of the season.
Monday, December 15: Silly Sock Day
Got any reindeer socks? Maybe socks with trees or snowmen? Or really, any silly socks at all! Our celebration starts at our toes!
Tuesday, December 16: Hat Day
Santa hats, elf hats, reindeer antlers, or something out of Whoville. Any Christmas headgear is approved for this day!
Wednesday, December 17: Sweater Day
Whatever sweater or shirt that you have that celebrates the season, we would love to see it. It does not have to be ugly!
Thursday, December 18: Santa’s Helper
Dress up as your favorite Christmas character-elves, reindeer, whos from Whoville, etc.! No face paint, please.
Friday, December 19: Pajama Day (School appropriate of course)
Nothing makes us feel festive quite like Christmas PJs. Wear your favorite pair on this day! Please still wear real shoes for when we go outside, but slippers for inside are just fine!
Thank you for joining with us as we celebrate!
Sincerely,
Lowell Teachers and Staff
We hope you all have a wonderful holiday season.

Christmas Program Info:
Reminder, tonight, December 4, is the annual Christmas Program for grades K to 5. With this being said, doors will NOT open until 6:30. All students will stay with their guardians in the gym until 6:40. At this time students will walk to their classrooms and wait for the program to begin at 7:00. All student jackets should be left with the parents as your child will NOT be going back into their classroom at the end of the program.
In closing, please know you will have an opportunity to get a photo of your child when arriving in the foyer. We hope that you are able to make this event and enjoy the Christmas cheer.
See you tonight and Merry Christmas.

The American Legion Auxiliary Post 750 of Lowell held their legion of readers book give away today. All students K-5 had the opportunity to pick a book that they wanted to take home and keep. This is a wonderful program to help the students get interested in reading. Thank you, American Legion. Your generosity is so appreciated.
