What a great day for field day!!!










The kindergarten walking field trip to the bank and post office was a great success. Students even enjoyed a picnic lunch on the island.





2nd grade celebrated winning the Book-it Challenge with an ice cream sundae party this afternoon. Way to go students and thank you Mrs. Worthington! 📚🍦





The Fifth grade class went to camp middle school. They completed many team building and get to know you activities throughout the day.










4th grade students at Lowell Elementary completed a letter of concerns about their community for Social Studies class. Lowell Mayor, Mr. Steve Weber was very touched by their suggestions and letters that he is working toward implementing some of their suggestions such as signs to not litter at the park and fixing some burnt out street lights. The students were very excited to see that their voices were heard.

Last week second grade had a special guest reader, School Resource Officer Deputy Martin, and K-9 visitor, Axel.


Thank you, Witten's Farm for an awesome second grade field trip. We had a great time and learned so much.









Upcoming basketball camp.......2023 Fort Frye Lady Cadets Basketball Camp will be held May 31-June 2 from 9 am-12 pm. Cost is $35. This camp is for any girls entering grades 3rd - 8th. Camp will be in the high school gymnasium.
The Lowell Staff wants to thank the PTO for an awesome week. The luncheon was amazing and the flowers were beautiful. Thank you for everything.
This week first grade learns about, studies, and explores the life of a baby chick. The students absolutely LOVED holding the chicks.






Wellness coordinator, Megan Lang, held a jump rope challenge today during recess. Winners were Paisley Curran (3rd-5th) and Aaleyah Carpenter (K-2). Congrats, girls.


Thanks to Chad Miller from the ESC, our 2nd graders got to become paleontologists! A paleontologist is someone who studies fossils to learn about life on Earth a really long time ago. Students were able to create their own model fossils, excavate them, and even document a REAL fossil! Each student was even given one ticket for free admission to COSI. Thank you, Mr. Miller and COSI for this fun STEAM experience!
