Lowell Elementary lifts up Hunter Allen and Family. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

First grade would like to thank Barry Backus from the Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities for coming to talk with our first graders about inclusion. Each student was given their very own copy of the book “Strictly No Elephants.” Barry read the book to the students as they followed along. It was a heart-warming story about always including others and a wonderful reminder for all. ♥️

Students across the building pair up and read together in celebration of Read Across America Day. New friendships are formed duriing this fun activity.

Fourth Grade was all over the building this week sharing random acts of kindness. They made treat bags for 3rd and 1st, bookmarks for 2nd and 5th, mindful breathing sticks for kindergarten, and then they wrote kind notes to their classmates and teachers. What a great week showing kindness.
