Today BB2C (building bridges to careers) came to Lowell Elementary and worked with the K-2 students. Thank you, PTO for making this possible. They worked with Lego race cars, tangrams, built bridges, and made circuit roads for a robot. This was a great experience.

Today building bridges to careers (BB2C) came and worked with third through fifth grade. Students had to work as a team and build the longest freestanding bridge, highest freestanding tower, fastest Lego car, and coding a path for a small robot. This was a great event for the students.

Just a reminder that tomorrow is a One Hour Early Dismissal (3:00). We have two schools that do not dismiss until 4 p..m. and many students in extracurriculars after school, we will be dismissing one hour early this Friday, March 7, so that our fans can safely travel to support our Lady Cadets in the Final Four. We will play Rootstown at 7 p.m. at Claymont High School. Go Cadets!

Today we conducted a paired reading. This is where students are paired up from various grade levels and they read books to each other. This is a great activity and encourages reading, while meeting new friends.
