Groundbreaking Ceremony (Student Council Members Attending)

Fort Frye Board, Admin, Nurse, and Wellness Coordinator,
On Tuesday, October 8, at 2 pm, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Women’s and Children’s Hospital is happening.
CORAS has been very involved in getting this hospital here and I have personally given testimony for this. State monies are being invested.
Governor DeWine and other legislators are going to be there. All county school systems have been asked to invite their admin team, board members and wellness team along with community members to attend. I personally plan to attend and I am hoping a few of you can commit to this as well. Attending this in Fort Frye shirts is very important for us! We have to show our gratefulness and support for the investment the state is making in rural Ohio. Please individually let me know if you will join me.
Second, the organizers are asking for some students to be invited and excused from school to attend. I am not sure how we select or invite elementary kids and will talk to Megan and Krista next week.
For 6-12, I was thinking we invite student council Principals, and government students for this experience. We could provide bussing for those who attend. We will not return til after school is out so this all becomes complicated. Andy and Rachael, I will reach out next week.
