Lowell Elementary

This week is spirit week. Today's theme was PJ day.

Lowell Elementary Cooks, Mrs. Dowler and Mrs. Hall, create a cute fall lunchroom bulletin board for the students to enjoy tomorrow. Thank you, ladies!

Tomorrow is hat.

Today students in K through fifth participated in breakfast buddies this morning. Various grades mixed up and met a new friend. Some of them read a story, while others spoke about their favorite things to do. This is a great way to get the students across the building to build lasting relationships.

Our fourth graders had the special opportunity to release their two monarch butterflies after watching them grow from tiny caterpillars into beautiful butterflies! What an amazing hands-on learning experience to witness the magic of the butterfly life cycle up close. 🌱🦋 A special thank you to Mrs. Worthington for bringing in the caterpillars and milkweed and making this wonderful experience possible for our students!

Next week, September 28-Ocotober 2 is spirit week. Here are the themes for each day if your child would like to participate.

2 Hour Delay

Lowell 5th grade is working on order of operations and playing the addition and division game. The goal was to get the least possible value to win! This is our new clear math series that we are currently piloting and the kids absolutely LOVE TO PLAY the games!

Lowell Elementary is a 4-star rated school. Way a great day to be a Cadet!!!!

Lowell's bananas had a message on them this morning. Messages were: Have a great day and you are kind. Students are reading and enjoying their messages for the day, Thank you Mrs. Kim

This month’s Food Service focus is “Farm to School”.  Shoutout to our local Witten Market & Greenhouse for the fresh corn on the cob🌽. The students at Lowell Elementary really enjoyed the delicious corn at lunch today 😋

First graders enjoy Friday flashlight reading. They said it was so fun. Students are looking forward to more Friday flashlight reading events.

Fourth grade is off to a great start! 🎉 Our students had so much fun getting to know one another through an engaging get-to-know-you activity. Lots of smiles, laughter, and new connections were made! 💙📚✨

Please note that for the opening Fort Frye High School home football game on Friday, August 21, parking has been adjusted due to the excessive summer rain. Please help us maintain safe grounds for our kids, staff, and community by parking on paved areas. NO parking on grass areas.
