Washington/Morgan County Community Action has opportunities for summer work or internship through the AmeriCorps Vista Program. Summer VISTA (Volunteer in Service to America). VISTA will provide a living stipend and either an education award (think scholarship) or cash award (if the education award is not accepted). Additionally, Washington-Morgan Counties Community Action has openings for a part–time Summer Feeding Aide in Washington and Morgan County. The Aide will distribute lunches to children at summer feeding sites. Interested individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check. Must have transportation, be insurable and have a good driving record. Will work June 6 th thru August 11th. 20 hours per week.
